Most common types are : 

1. Hass

The most popular export variety.

  • Dark, rough skin that turns almost black when ripe

2. Fuerte

A traditional green-skin variety.

  • Smooth, bright green skin

  • Pear-shaped and medium to large in size

  • Mild, buttery flavour

  • Popular in both local and regional markets

3. Pinkerton


Longer shape with a small seed

Thick green skin

High flesh-to-seed ratio

Ideal for processing and fresh consumption
